A Week of Peace
I will give you in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid,…..
(Leviticus 26: 6 NKJV)
God promises blessings.
*God promises peace.
*God promises prosperity.
*God promises His presence.
These blessings are not as we expect.
*The Peace within and the peace with others.
*The prosperity is our presence with God and is practically and genuinely following Christ and His Word.
*His presence are the times when we come across the trials and tests and temptations.
∗God leads us with His peace, guards with His prosperity and protects us with His presence.

The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.
(Psalm 29: 11 NKJV)
This psalm tells about the strength and power of God.
I. God has supremacy over Heavenly Beings.
II. God has supremacy over the Forces of Nature.
III. God has supremacy over Humanity.
David talks about the approaching storm.
*The voice of the Lord thunders.
*The voice of the Lord breaks the trees.
*The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness.
*The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
Such is the strength and power of God.
We consider ourselves “high and mighty.” It’s not so. We should humble ourselves before God to give glory and honour in the beauty of holiness.

The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
(Numbers 6: 25&26)
*These are the blessings of God.
*These are spiritual blessings.
*God’s face shining on His people is a symbol of His presence with them.
*The picture of turning His face upon His people implies His favour.
*So His presence and favour give us peace which none could offer.
∗Let’s enjoy and accept the God given peace in our lives.

My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places.
(Isaiah 32: 18 NKJV)
*The righteous will dwell in peace and love one another.
*When they love one another, they feel secured and the people will dwell in safety and walk confidently.
*When people are safe and confident, they sleep and rest quietly.
His Word promises that the righteous enjoy spiritual prosperity and safety, great peace and quietness and comfort and rest.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, ……..
(Ephesians 2: 14 NKJV)
*Jesus is the source of peace.
*The author of peace between Jews and Gentiles that Gentiles are no more outcasts.
*Jesus broke down the differences between the people.
*They are equal member of God’s household.
*He mingled, dined and He has forgiven the sinners.
*In today ‘s world, the wall is symbolic of the social religious and spiritual separation.
*Jesus looks at the hearts of the people rather than the status of them.
*The ceremonial law of wall should be broken down with the compassionate law of love and peace.
*For there is one God, one church and one body.
Glory be to God.
