∗ The house represents religious life; the rain represents divine judgement.
∗ The house built on the foundation of obedience to God’s Word stands.
Jesus is our rock on whom we stand.

Luke 6: 46-49
∗ It’s easy to give lip service to Jesus.
∗ It’s harder to love enemies, freely to give someone who is trying to take from you, to judge others and maintain a mind-set of humility.
But genuine believers obey even the difficult commands of Jesus.
∗ Jesus closes this chapter with a parable of two builders – a wise and a foolish, which substantiates what Jesus wants to convey to His disciples.

Lord, let’s always stand on the rock which is Your Word and make us to obey the difficult commands of Jesus. Amen.
Glory be to God
