The fulfilment of the Covenant Promises on the day of Pentecost. 
God promised to send His Holy Spirit to the people of Israel ( Ezekiel 36 : 27) and to put His law in their minds and write it on their hearts. (Jeremiah 31 : 33)
God turns Harvest festival in to a memorable event. (Luke 10 : 2)
The descending of the Holy Spirit
* The sound (violent wind), fire and the speech occurred once on top of mount Sinai.
* It occurs again now on the day of Pentecost.
* Of the three, the speech was the most impressive sign of all.
* A group of uncultured and unschooled Galileans is suddenly able to present the Gospel in the various native languages.
* There were fifteen groups of people from east and west hearing the Gospel clearly explaining in their own languages.
* It represents the voice of God and the universality of the message.
Lord, let’s always wait upon Your Holy Spirit to lead us in our lives. Amen.
