KISSED TO KILL
The Kiss of Judas
Betrayed Jesus
To the hypocrites.
They questioned
And they tortured
The sinless man
And the son of man.
Held fast His peace
And kept in silence.
With the crowd of people
Grumbled not He for an appeal
To prove the prophecy,
Which was not in secrecy.
That led him to the grave
For the human sin
To be forgiven.
With Divine peace
And human intimacy,
The Lamb of God
Walked the cross in grace.
RESURRECTED TO REDEEM
The women came with a mournful heart
To see the sculpture with honour and respect.
With a great tremor, the angel of the Lord
Appeared with divinity and purity in clad.
Rolled back the stone with a victorious smile
To show the empty tomb to them to marvel.
Down fell the guards as dead and unconscious
Due to the wickedness of the unrighteous.
The grieved women with a mixed feeling,
Ran with joyous fear and astonishment
Proclaiming the proven prophecy around;
They sped in gushing and lightning speed.
Alas! They met Him on His way to Galilee,
Where the Risen met His disciples with glee.
Awesome! Their raised eyelids never closed
Until the doubted, touched and felt the wound.
Rejoice! Rejoice!! Rejoice!!! For Jesus is risen.
Sins are forgiven; the prophecy has been proven.
He resurrected to be the Redeemer of mankind
And He rose again to be at the right hand of God.
